When you enter the land that God, your God, is giving you as an inheritance, you must take possession of it and settle in it. Of all the first fruits of the earth that you harvest from your land that God, your God, is giving you, you must take one specimen. You must place these fruits in a basket and go to the place to which God, your God, will choose to attach His Name. You must approach the priest who will be in those days and say to him, ‘I declare today to God, your God, that I have come to the land that God swore to our forefathers to give us.’
